SHIPPING POLICY

We ship kayak and paddling gear orders across Canada from our warehouse in Southern Ontario. Please review the details below to understand how shipping is handled, including costs, timeframes, and any special conditions that may apply to large or custom items.

SHIPPING LOCATIONS

We currently offer shipping to:

  • All provinces and territories across Canada

  • For remote or rural areas, delivery may take longer and may be subject to limited-service availability

  • Note: We do not currently ship internationally.

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).

  • Orders placed after 12 PM EST may be processed on the next business day

  • Custom or special-order items may require additional processing time

  • During peak seasons (e.g., spring/summer), slight delays may occur

SHIPPING METHODS AND DELIVERY TIME

We partner with trusted carriers such as UPS, Canpar, FedEx, Purolator and freight companies (for oversized items).

LARGE OR OVERSIZED SHIPMENTS
(KAYAKS, CANOES, UTILITY SLEDS, CARGO BOXES)
  • Please contact us for shipping rates for oversized items such as canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, SUPs, cargo boxes, and sleds. We strive to obtain the best and fastest shipping rate to your destination.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary based on:

  • Delivery location

  • Package size and weight

  • Shipping method selected

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor the status of your delivery via the carrier's website.

DELIVERY ISSUES

We are not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays due to weather, carrier issues, or unforeseen circumstances

  • Packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery

  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer

  • Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. If an error occurs, contact us immediately at utopiapaddlesports@gmail.com we’ll do our best to assist if the item hasn’t shipped.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Customers may select Free Local Pickup at checkout. Once your order is ready, we’ll notify you by email or phone to arrange a pickup time.

DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or if something is missing:

  1. Take clear photos of the packaging and item(s)

  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  3. Email your order number and issue details to: utopiapaddlesports@gmail.com

We’ll initiate a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
